Dear Mr.Tallino
Thank you for your e-mail relating to the article you read in a magazine stating that Holland & Holland does not manufacture weapons anymore but outsources the work around the world. It's quite amazing that in this day and age Publications are still allowing bad writers and inaccurate articles in their magazines. If you go to the Holland & Holland web site (
http://www.hollandandholland.com ) there is a write up on the factory with current photographs or if you enter the shooing accessories page on the web site if required you can purchase the H&H DVD on gun and rifle making in our factory. We currently have 43 craftsmen ( sorry one woman included ) at our factory including 3 in house engravers, although we do use freelance engravers if specified by our clients, and we are one of the few Gun & Rifle makers that actually manufacture all our components in house including our own rifle tubes. You may wish to write to the magazine and the author of the article and advise them that this DVD is available for accurate Information and show that you know better than them.
I trust this has answered your question and if you come to the UK we will be more than happy for you to visit our factory and see the weapons in production.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further Information.
Kind regards
Patrick Murphy.
